I just listened to something that immediately made me tear up. I think that's what it's all about. All of us creatives have this thing inside us we're trying to communicate. I want to get to a place where you can feel me through my art. I haven't got there yet but that's the goal.

In those moments when our inner turmoil has really quietened, we find significance in things we wouldn't expect to find significant at all.

The point of music is discovered in every moment of playing and listening to it. It is the same, I feel, with the greater part of our lives.

Advice? I don’t have advice. Stop aspiring and start writing. If you’re writing, you’re a writer. Write like you're clinging to the edge of a cliff, white knuckles, on your last breath, and you've got just one last thing to say.
